If you want to build your own AR 15 then the MGI upper receiver is 100% compatible with conventional, lower receivers that have a small diameter front pivot pin (.250”). The ported aluminum free-float tube features four rails that measure six inches long. The float tube also comes with a self contained, steel barrel retainer with spring loaded release levers and retaining block for solid barrel attachment.
