Picatinny rails are injection molded directly into each handguard top and bottom half to provide a snag-free profile. Furnished with a slide-on cover that gives a comfortable grip, plus protects the rails when not in use.

A stainless steel heat shield acts as a heat sink to dissipate the high temperatures created during sustained, rapid fire sequences.
